On this page you can browse games on SONY consoles like the PS1, PS4 and PS5.

PlayStation 5

The PlayStation 5 (PS5) was developed by SONY and released in 2020; it was part of the ninth generation of video game consoles, along with the Xbox X and Xbox S from Microsoft.

The PS5 games below can be borrowed from the Equipment Loan Office, located on the lower level of the library. The library has a non-circulating PS5 located also located on the lower level; students can reserve time on the console here. Note that PlayStation 4 games can also be played on the PS5.


PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 (PS4) was developed by SONY and released in 2013; it was part of the eighth generation of video game consoles, along with Microsoft's Xbox One and Nintendo's Switch.

The PS4 games below can be borrowed from the Equipment Loan Office, located on the lower level of the library. While the library does not have a PS4 console, PS4 games are compatible with the PlayStation 5. The library has a PS5 located on the lower level; students can reserve time on the console here.

PlayStation

The PlayStation (PS1) is a video game console released by SONY in December 1994. It was part of the fifth generation of video game consoles, along with the Nintendo 64 and the SEGA Saturn. In December 2018, SONY released the PlayStation Classic, a dedicated video game emulator preloaded with 20 PS1 games.

The games below come loaded on the PlayStation Classic, which can be borrowed through the library's Equipment Loan Office, located on the lower level.
