Pratt Libraries offers support to students at all stages of the thesis process. Our Graduate Thesis Submission Guide lists formatting requirements, resources to help you in the writing process, and guidelines for submission.
Browsing past theses and capstone projects can be a helpful way of understanding their scope, formatting, and construction.
Pratt School of Design maintains a Communications Design thesis and capstone archive of past projects completed by MFA Communications Design and MS Packaging, Identities and Systems Design students, from 2019 to the present.
Communications Design theses are also available through the Libraries. Search or browse the catalog for ComD theses.
Note: Theses completed in 2020 and beyond are available to read online anytime via ProQuest Dissertations and Theses.
Theses from 2019 and older are available in print at our Brooklyn location.
For more information about access to theses, please contact libref@pratt.edu.
Pratt's Writing and Tutorial Center (WTC) offers one-on-one tutoring sessions with experienced academic professionals. These hour-long appointments generally begin with a conversation between you and the tutor regarding your goals, the specifics of your assignment, and your concerns.
Please note, the WTC is not an editing or proofreading service. For more information, check out the WTC FAQ.
