ConnectNY

ConnectNY is similar to interlibrary loan in that it is a free service to borrow items from other libraries, but it is only for physical books while interlibrary loan also supplies scans of chapters and articles. ConnectNY is a New York based consortium, meaning that items will ideally (though unfortunately not always) arrive faster than interlibrary loan items as they are only coming from in-state. Another benefit of ConnectNY is a longer loan period than interlibrary loan. Click below to see if the item you are looking for is in the ConnectNY catalog and make a request through the catalog. The reference desk staff are here to answer any questions!
