About the Collection
The Pratt Institute Libraries lend equipment to faculty, staff, and students at the Brooklyn campus. This equipment is intended to provide borrowers with the means to document projects, make presentations, and implement creative ideas.
Students, faculty and staff can check out the equipment for one business day. One-time renewals are possible based on availability. Renewals should be arranged by calling 718-636-3626. Late fees for equipment are $12.00 per item per day.
Up to six different items may be borrowed at a time. A borrower must arrive in person with their Pratt ID at the Equipment Loan Office, located at the Library’s lower level. Borrowers are responsible to follow campus guidelines for return to campus https://www.pratt.edu/coronavirus/health-and-safety/campus-access/.
Some projects may require more equipment or a longer borrowing period. In such cases Special Equipment Requests may be submitted using the form in this guide ("Special Request").
