All equipment must be returned by Monday, December 15th. The last day to borrow equipment will be Friday, December 12th. Equipment borrowed during finals week will have shortened loan periods to accommodate the December 15th due date.
The Equipment Loan Office will be closed for inventory 12/15/2025 - 01/18/2026. We will not be fulfilling holds placed on equipment during this time.
To request to borrow equipment past December 15th, please submit a Special Request by no later than Wednesday, December 10th. The last day to pick up a Special Request will be Friday, December 19th.

About the Collection
The Pratt Institute Libraries lend equipment to faculty, staff, and students at the Brooklyn campus. This equipment is intended to provide borrowers with the means to document projects, make presentations, and implement creative ideas.
Students, faculty and staff can check out the equipment for seven days. Late fees for equipment are $5.00 per item per day.
For standard circulation, a patron can check out a maximum of 6 unique items. For multiples of a certain kind of item, kindly submit a Special Request. If the item you wish to check out is not available, we encourage you to place a hold.
