Please note that theses are added to the catalog in batches twice a year (once in March and once in August). As a result, you may not see the most recently submitted works. For the most up-to-date record of recently submitted theses, please search Pratt Institute Theses (2020-present).

About the Collection

The Thesis Collection consists of nearly 10,000 theses produced by Pratt Institute graduate students going back as far as the early 1950s. The bulk of the collection dates from the 1980s to the present, when it became common practice and later a requirement for students from most graduate departments to deposit their theses in the Library.  The collection is added to at a rate of between 350-400 theses per year. This collection is an important record of student output at Pratt and a valuable research tool frequently used by students and faculty, as well as some outside researchers.
