Pratt Institute Libraries is pleased to share news about recent additions to the growing collection of available electronic resources :
The Libraries will also continue several Evidence-Based Acquisition (EBA) programs in an effort to expand its collection development plan. An EBA is a hybrid subscription and purchasing model for ebooks or streaming videos, enabling access to large, multi-disciplinary collections at a low cost per title. The Libraries can use usage data from these programs to help inform decisions about which items to add to the library's permanent collection, creating a more direct link between use of the collection and our purchasing decisions. Here's a few vendors we are currently collaborating with to support EBA programs:
Supporting Open Access publishing through funding remains a major priority for the Pratt Libraries. We continued to honor this commitment last Spring by contributing to the following initiatives:
