Library users can borrow up to 30 items. Of those items, up to 3 may be items borrowed from the Equipment Loan Office.

Continuing Education and PreCollege students are subject to shortened loan periods.

Library accounts of students not enrolled for upcoming semesters may be set to expire before the end of the standard loan period. Due dates will be automatically adjusted to fall before account expiration.

Continuing Education and PreCollege Students                                                                         - Valid Pratt Institute ID Card Full access to Pratt Institute Libraries, collections, databases, and services.   A valid Pratt Institute ID is required to borrow any materials. Students in 4-week courses cannot borrow items, but they are welcome to use resources on-site. 
Pratt Alumni Visiting Researcher card can be granted by emailing request to aberg286@pratt.edu In-person access to Pratt Institute Libraries reading rooms, print collection, and scanners. Alumni will not be able to access ebooks or subscription databases due to licensing restrictions.
METRO Library Referrals Advanced reservation coordinated through participating METRO library In-person access to Pratt Institute Libraries reading rooms, print collection, and scanners. METRO visitors will not be able to access ebooks or subscription databases due to licensing restrictions.
Visiting Researchers Visiting Researcher card can be granted by emailing request to aberg286@pratt.edu In-person access to Pratt Institute Libraries reading rooms, print collection, and scanners. Researchers will not be able to access ebooks or subscription databases due to licensing restrictions.
Archives Researchers Email to archives.library@pratt.edu to schedule an appoitnemnt In-person access to Pratt Institute Libraries reading rooms, print collection, and scanners.                                                                                                                                               - Appointments are required to ensure material availability and staff assistance. Researchers will not be able to access ebooks or subscription databases due to licensing restrictions.
General Public Valid Photo ID No public access to study spaces, computers, or collections. Limited walk-in access to building for events. General public access is restricted, with exceptions made for public events. Pratt-affiliated individuals are permitted to bring a guest, provided they remain with their guest throughout the library visit.
