We are a practice of therapists who understand the importance of providing anti-racist, racially affirming psychotherapy to people of color. We started this group practice after seeing the tremendous need within our community for women and girls of color to receive racially affirming psychotherapy. All of our therapists in this division are women of color who are committed to racially affirming psychotherapy.
This Tool Kit is for us—developed by and for people of African ancestry to comfort and inspire us in these
difficult times. It provides resources to help us take care of ourselves and each other, and strengthen our sense of community for the journey ahead.
Black Men Heal is a 501c3 grassroots nonprofit organization, that was established in 2018. It was created as a solution to a broken inequitable mental health care system that does not center the needs of marginalized black and brown communities.
Liberate is a subscription-based meditation app with free and reduced-cost options that includes practices and talks designed for the Black community. The app is designed to support Black folks on their path to healing by naming and offering resources for common cultural experiences, like internalized racism and micro-aggressions.
The National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network (NQTTCN) is a healing justice organization that actively works to transform mental health for queer and trans people of color in North America. Together we build the capacity of QTPoC (queer and trans people of color) mental health practitioners, increase access to healing justice resources, provide technical assistance to social justice movement organizations to integrate healing justice into their work.
At TherapyforBlackMen.org, we want to break the stigma that asking for help is a sign of weakness. With a rapidly growing directory of 373 therapists and 45 coaches throughout the fifty states thus far, we are here to provide judgment-free, multiculturally-competent care to Black men.
