AI Resource Guide

A guide to artificial intelligence (AI) resources.

AI Literacy Toolkit for Faculty

The AI Literacy Toolkit aims to support Pratt Institute faculty members navigating the use of AI technologies across the campus. Each component provides a different form of guidance for the application of Pratt Institute’s main policies related to AI use: the Statement on Artificial Intelligence and the Academic Integrity Policy.

The Toolkit was created by Hannah Fountain-Pileggi, UX & Web Services Librarian, and Morgan Võ, Critical and Inclusive Pedagogy Librarian, as part of their AI Literacy at Pratt program hosted by the Center for Teaching and Learning on September 12, 2025.

Critical AI Zotero Library

The Critical AI Zotero Library contains texts related to AI, with a focus on core concepts, ethical considerations, and AI literacy.

Step-by-step instructions for joining our Zotero library are available in our Toolkit Doc.

Pratt Institute Faculty are encouraged to recommend additional resources via Google Form submission: Critical AI Library Recommendations.

For Zotero support, email Hannah Fountain-Pileggi, UX & Web Services Librarian (hfounta8@pratt.edu).

The Toolkit includes a Lesson Plan Template for introducing AI use to your Pratt courses. The lesson plan includes an adaptable scaffold for discussions tailored to the particularities of your teaching.

Should you desire it, Pratt librarians are here to offer further support.

Guide: Writing AI Course Policies

This guide will support you in developing an AI policy for your Pratt Institute course. AI policies can vary widely among courses, disciplines, assignments, and teaching styles, so this guide is meant to be flexible and responsive. This five-step process will help you organize and articulate your expectations regarding AI use for your course.

For examples of AI course policies, Lance Eaton of Northeastern University has created a cooperative, multidisciplinary repository of AI course policy statements.
