Click on a book image or link to view its PrattCat record--this will help you determine its location & availability.
- PrattCat is the Pratt Libraries' online catalog.
- Search for books, DVDs, holdings of journals & magazines (NOT ARTICLES), newspapers, MMS equipment, etc.
- PrattCat allows you to use one interface to search for items at both campus libraries (Brooklyn and Manhattan).
- If you would like to limit your search to a particular Pratt Library (the Manhattan or Brooklyn Library), you may do so at PrattCat's Advanced Search page.
Step 1: Visit the Library Website @ library.pratt.edu
Step 2: Use the drop-down menu to select "title," (or "author," or "subject," whatever your criteria) and enter the title of the book or journal you want. Then click "Search PrattCat".
Step 3: This record for this book says it's "available," which means I can go to the stacks and find it.
So I write down the call number (198.9 K47E) and visit the Library Stacks. For assistance, you may refer to the Library Stacks Guide.
