A guide to registering for and using Lynda.com through the Pratt Institute Libraries

New Users: How to Access LinkedIn Learning (Lynda.com)

You must have a current pratt.edu email address in order to register for a LinkendIn Learning account and access Lynda.com content. If you already have a lynda.com account through Pratt, skip to the Returning Users section below. If this is your first time accessing LinkedIn Learning, you'll need to sign in from the link below when creating an account:

Step 1


Verify your email

After clicking on the link above, simply enter your pratt.edu email address in the box and click "verify email." 

 

Step 2


Register Your Account

After that, you will receive an email activation link to register and confirm your LinkedIn Learning account. If you receive an error message or do not receive an email activation link, please email us.

 

 

 

 

Once you've created your account through the Pratt link in step 1, you'll be able to sign in directly at LinkedIn Learning. Inactive accounts may be purged at the end of the semester. If this happens, just sign up with the link in step 1 to reactivate your account.

Returning Users: Activating LinkedIn Learning

First: Activate your LinkedIn Learning account by clicking the
link in the confirmation email you received. 

Second: Decide if you want to connect your LinkedIn account or create a separate Learning account. You do not need to connect your LinkedIn account.

 

Third: If you choose to connect your LinkedIn account, 
you'll be prompted to log into LinkedIn. If not, you can create a LinkedIn Learning acccount.

Do you already have a lynda.com account? If so, you can link it to your new LinkedIn Learning account to preserve your previous course activity and help LinkedIn Learning recommend new content. Off-campus access

LinkedIn Learning content is available for off-campus access. When first signing up, users must go through the link on the right. Once your account is created, you can sign in  directly at LinkedIn Learning.
