Black Lives Matter Pratt will host the BLM Pratt 2021 Teach-In: Black Futures & Utopias from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM ET. This virtual conference will feature talks and workshops by Ras Cutlass, the Wide Awakes, and Pratt faculty members Simone Barros, Jerrod Delaine, Jeffrey Hogrefe, and Scott Ruff. National Archives: Black HistoryThe National Archives and Records Administration is providing access to a trove of online primary source documents related to Black History, including materials on enslavement, the Civil War, Reconstruction, The Great Migration, and the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and 70s. Four Hundred Souls: A Community History of African America, 1619-2019The National Civil Rights Museum will soon host a free book discussion on "Four Hundred Souls: A Community History of African Americans, 1619-2019." In Four Hundred Souls, a chorus of extraordinary voices comes together to tell one of history’s great epics: the four-hundred-year journey of African Americans from 1619 to the present. Panelists include Ibram X. Kendi, Keisha N. Blane, Charles Cobb, Jr., Keeanga Yamhatta-Taylor, and Heather McGhee. -

The Legacy Museum: From Enslavement to Mass IncarcerationThe Legacy Museum opened to the public on April 26, 2018, in Montgomery, Alabama. The 11,000-square-foot museum is built on the site of a former warehouse where enslaved Black people were imprisoned. Though the museum is currently closed for in-person visits, you can browse and explore their thought-provoking exhibits online. -
