This guide will walk you through signing up for an e-library card from NYPL, BPL, and QL, and will highlight a number of online resources as well as "Grab & Go" services available now from each library system.

Queens Library To-Go Services and Book Returns

Queens Library Online Collections: Highlights

Research Resources: Explore research databases, government document repositories, local history collections, and demographic information on Queens and NYC at large. 

Virtual Programming and Events: With everything from guided meditation programs to lessons on entrepreneurship and hip hop production, Queens Library's remote programming offers something for everyone.  

Language Learning Resources: Browse a number of award-winning language learning platforms featuring conversational prompts, language learning assessments, and lessons for novices and experienced speakers. 

Virtual Learning Opportunities: Explore free online classes on cooking, photography, technology skills, philosophy, and more.

Digital ArchivesQueens Library's Digital Archives include maps, photographs, drawings, manuscripts, and books related to the history of Queens, Brooklyn, and greater Long Island. The archives are updated frequently and designed for easy browsing and navigation. 

Queens Memory Project: Since its inception in 2010, Queens Memory Project has produced hundreds of oral histories, photo collections, and storytelling series documenting life in this incredibly diverse borough. The Memory Project has since expanded to include COVID-19 testimonials from affected residents and stories from LGBTQ community members

Self Care Resources: With the profound challenges brought on by COVID-19, it's perhaps more important than ever to take care of ourselves. In response, Queens Library has developed a straightforward set of health and self-care guidelines we can safely practice at home.   

And like its neighboring library systems, Queens Library offers free access to thousands of e-Books, e-Magazines, and video and music streaming services as well.
