Renew Books

For regular-circulation books (NOT one-day loans, ILL, or books taken out by special permission), students can renew their books for 2 weeks at a time, up to 4 weeks total. To do so, first go to My Account to log in.

Once you've logged in, you will be able to see all the books you have out and when they're due.

(1) Status. Here you can see the due dates of all the books you have out from the library.

(2) Renewing books. To renew books: renew either selected titles or everything you have out. Once you click to renew, it'll ask to make sure you want to renew, and then once it goes through, check (1) again to see the new due date. It is very important to check Status after you try to renew. If a renewal is not possible (if the book is on hold for another student, for example), the Status will alert you to the fact that your due date has not changed.

(3) Fines. Your fines, should you have any, will appear here, and the amount will be in red if it's over $10, the amount at which you must pay or you won't be allowed to check more books out (please see our Fines policy for more information).

(4) Log Out.
