Finding Theses in the Catalog
The Brooklyn Campus Library acts as a depository for graduate theses required to complete most of Pratt Institute’s graduate programs. These theses form a significant portion of our research resources.
Starting from cat.pratt.edu, which is the direct link to the catalog, click on the Advanced tab (1).
To do a search that will bring back all theses of a certain department, look for Subject: "[department]" (2) and narrow the search to Material Type: Theses (3).
To search for theses from a particular year or period, use (2) and (3) plus Year: After/Before (4).
You can also search by Author (5) if you know the graduate's last name.
Note: Theses cannot leave the library, but you can look at up to 3 at a time via the Reference Desk.
