How to Renew Books and Place Holds Online in Your Account

You can see the books you have out and when they are due back through your Library Account. This is also where you can renew your books. Your Account can be found always be found on library.pratt.edu and related links under the Quick Links sidebar, as seen below.

The link to My Account can also be found on cat.pratt.edu and every page in the catalog, in the header next to New Search, and in the links box under Ask a Librarian.

In Your Account

Clicking on the My Account link brings you to the sign-in page, where you sign in using your name (as on your Pratt ID) and your ID number.

(1) Status. Here you can see the due dates of all the books you have out from the library.

(2) Renewing books. The renewal process is explained here.

(3) Fines. Your fines, should you have any, will appear here, and the amount will be in red if it's over $10, the amount at which you must pay or you won't be allowed to check more books out (please see our Fines policy for more information).
